Registration is now open for Forward 08. To register, submit a completed registration form along with a non-refundable $50 deposit to Pastor Bronson by July 6. Early bird rate of $75 ends May21st. Cost is $85 thereafter. Brochures can be found in the Student Worship Center. Registration includes admission to Forward Conference, t-shirt, and transportation. Students will stay with host families from Grace Fellowship and commute to the Gwinnett Arena for services.
Forward 08 is a student conference for 6-12th graders hosted by Free Chapel Worship Center at the Gwinnett Arena. The purpose of this conference is to challenge students to move forward in their pursuit of Christ. Dynamic worship services include world renown speakers and bands. The 3D Student Choir will be joining the Worship & Arts Choir on Sundays May 18th & June 1st. They will be singing a couple of songs from the “Xtreme Praize” production from this past November. If your student was a part of this production or shows an interest in singing on these 2 Sundays, please encourage them to come to the MANDATORY rehearsal on May 14th @ 5:30pm. Pizza will be provided.
Sunday, May 18th will be Graduate Recognition Sunday for all high school seniors. If you would like for your senior to be recognized, please complete a Graduate Information Form and submit it to Pastor Bronson no later than Wednesday, May 14th. Forms can be found in the South Foyer (new). Please help insure that we don’t miss any graduates by passing this info along.
New Sermon Series… “What’s in Your Wallet?”… Wallets tend to carry items that are of great value to its owner, and these items can speak volumes as to what the owner values. This 4 week series addresses issues that are close to the heart of students and challenges teens to put their value in Christ. We’ll be asking the question :: “If your life were a wallet, what would we find inside?”

North Georgia Summer Camp is just around the corner. These camps are hosted by the North Georgia Church of God Youth & Christian Education Dept. at the Legacy Retreat Center in Commerce, GA. Sat. April 19… All 6-12th grade students are invited to join us for an afternoon of paintball wars!! We will be meeting at the church @ 1pm on Sat. April 19. Cost to play is $35. Additional paintballs can be purchased for $10. We’ll be playing at Athens Paintball on the eastside of Athens from 2-6pm. Transportation will be provided, though students are allowed to meet us there. Parents are allowed to join us! You may pick your student up from the church @ 6:30pm.
